This year summer we have migrated from Powerschool to Alma, a new software system to help us better manage school, classroom, and student information.

Alma, much like PowerSchool, is a secure, easy-to-use online system that brings important school information and tools together in one place. 

In addition to educator tools, Alma offers a parent and student dashboard to help the student’s support system stay informed and on track with their learning. Alma provides access to much information, although some of it may not be applicable to elementary students:

    School Calendar
    Staff Directory
    Class Rosters
    Attendance History
    Assignments
    Grades
    Locker and Student ID information

Parents and guardians can email teachers and school staff through Alma, so you never have to search for their contact information. Families with more than one child enrolled at our school will be able to access each student’s information with a single login.

    On Tuesday August 15, 2023, parents and guardians will receive an email from Alma with information about how to set up their account and log into the portal.  See instructions here.  If you have not received this email by August 16th, please contact Darlene Dodge ([email protected]). You can also find a link to access Alma and its many resources on our website at www.sau85.org.  

Once you have created and logged into your account please select ALMA start, to complete the registration forms for the 23 - 24 school year. Only ONE parent should complete the forms through AlmaStart

 - Returning students grades 7-12:  August 23rd 7:30am - 10:00am, 5:00 - 8:00
Grades 6, 9 and
 - New students: August 24th 5:00 - 8:00 (please consider open house events held on this same evening)
